What Spray Beach houses need

A great deal of the older woodwork here is painted rather than clad, so pressure that a modern vinyl elevation would shrug off will strip it — the surface, not the dirt, sets the method.

Permits go through the Long Beach Township Construction Office. Repainting or re-coating porch woodwork is home improvement in New Jersey and requires a registered contractor; washing on its own generally does not.
